Local, Sectional and State Competitions
The Boise Rifle and Pistol Club hosts several pistol competitions each year.  These are fired with .22, .45 and other caliber pistols.

Supply Way is located off Gowen Road, Approximately 1 mile west of I-84 ; Use exit 57. ELIGIBILITY All competitors should be individual NRA members but not required. ENTRIES Entrees will be honored in the order received, and will be accepted until the last relay is called to the firing line. Shooters traveling more than 50 miles will receive relay preference. CLASSIFICATION NRA classes will be used. Unclassified shooters will shoot in the Master class. If less than three shooters in a class, that class will be combined with the next higher class. In no case will an individual be combined into a classification more than one level above his true classification CATEGORIES There will be no categories. RULES Current NRA rules will govern all matches. NRA B-16 targets will be used for slow fire. NRA B-8 targets will be used for Timed and Rapid Fire. COURSE OF FIRE All matches are shot at 25 yards. First relay fires at 10:00. LOCATION: Boise Rifle & Pistol Club Range, 6991 Supply Way, Boise Idaho. Supply Way is located off Gowen Road, approximately 1 mile west of I – 84; use exit 57. ENRTY FEES: $15.00 FOR MATCHES 1 - 5. Team matches $8.00 per 4 man team. RULES: Current NRA Pistol Rules will govern. EQUIPMENT: .22 Caliber Pistol (Rule 3.4). DISTANCE: 50 FEET. TARGETS: Slow Fire B – 2; Timed and Rapid Fire B – 3. Turning targets are required. MATCH SCHEDULE: Match #1 - 20 shots slow fire, 2 strings of 10 rounds, 10 minutes per string. Match #3 - 20 shots timed fire, 4 strings of 5 rounds, 20 seconds per 5 shot string. Match #4 - 20 shots rapid fire, 4 strings of 5 rounds, 10 seconds per 5 shot string. Match #2 - 30 shots, 10 rounds slow fire, 10 rounds timed fire, 10 rounds rapid fire. -Gallery Course. Match #5 - 90 shots aggregate. Match #6 - Team Match - NRA Gallery Course - All members of team must fire - This is not a paper match. NRA member ID number must be entered on entry card. TEAMS—A team will consist of four (4) firing members representing an NRA affiliated club (Rule 2.11 or (A), (B), a law enforcement agency (Rule 2.14), a regular service, National Guard or Reserve Unit (Rule 2.13). Teams composed of competitors not all in the same category are mixed teams. Mixed teams in Sectionals may fire for open awards only. Scores for mixed teams will not be used for National ranking or awards. NOTE: In order for scores from a Sectional to be recognized for sectional awards, there must be teams and individuals entered in the sectional concerned representing more than one affiliated organization. All scores, except those from mixed teams, will be recognized for National awards. -------------------------------------
